Service Description

My first Saturday Soup was in 2016 when I provided networking and CPD support to local Therapists working in mental health and well being. The aim was to provide much needed support to those helping others, the ethos being "we can only support others if we are supported ourselves". This continued until a relocation and subsequent lock down due to Covid-19. My first gut instinct was to provide on line support. However, Therapists and practitioners have been burnt out through the rise in mental health referrals and increase of complex trauma. We are also zoomed out. However, after careful consideration Saturday Soup will commence and starts in October on the first Saturday of the month and will continue each month. It has been described as "A hug in a mug" and "A lifeline to those working in mental health and working with distress". It is an opportunity to network, create new contacts, learn about other work and generate referrals. Each attendance is acknowledged with a CPD certificate. All you need to bring is yourself and your business card. Refreshments are available.
